Back to Fakprays

Fakprays is a Chrome extension for searching PC hardware across shopping and price-comparison platforms, tracking prices, viewing price history, and receiving optional notifications. This policy covers data processed when you use the extension.

1. Data controller

Fakprays is provided by independent developer Emirhan Kızıloğlu. Use the contact channel at the end of this page for privacy questions and deletion requests.

2. Data we process

Fakprays processes the following data only to provide its core functions:

  • Account and session data: email address, Supabase user ID, and session tokens. Authentication is handled through Supabase.
  • Tracked products: product title, URL, store/source, category, current and previous price, target price, stock or price status, last check time, and last error information.
  • Price history: price values and check timestamps for tracked products.
  • Settings: check interval, notification preferences, and—if enabled—Discord webhook URL, CallMeBot phone number, and API key.
  • Local extension data: theme preference, recent searches, selected sources, temporary search state, and temporary records needed for price checks. Some of this data stays only in Chrome storage on your device.
  • Campaign data: public product, price, and period information from campaigns such as Gaming Gecesi. This may be shared archive data independent of a user account.

3. Why we use data

  • Create accounts, sign users in, and maintain sessions.
  • Sync watchlists and settings across devices.
  • Check prices, save price history, and show changes.
  • Combine search results and match them with tracking status.
  • Send price-change alerts through channels you enable.
  • Show campaign archives, shortcuts, and countdowns.
  • Limit errors, reject unusual price readings, and keep the extension reliable.

4. Website access and Chrome permissions

Fakprays can read visible product information—such as name, URL, store, price, campaign, and stock—only on supported shopping and comparison domains listed in its manifest. It does not collect your complete browsing history.

  • storage: keep sessions, local preferences, and working state.
  • alarms: schedule price checks while Chrome is running.
  • notifications: show local price-change alerts.
  • activeTab, tabs, and scripting: read supported product pages you select or track and communicate with the extension.

5. Third-party services and sharing

Data is not sold or used for advertising or behavioral profiling. It is shared only where needed to provide a feature you request:

  • Supabase: authentication, cloud database, and account-linked sync.
  • Discord: only to deliver alerts when you enable Discord notifications and provide a webhook.
  • CallMeBot: only to deliver WhatsApp alerts when you enable them and provide the required details.
  • Supported store and comparison sites: to request the relevant public product page during search or price checks.

6. Retention and security

Cloud data is retained while needed to operate your account and features or until a deletion request is completed. Local data is removed according to Chrome's behavior when you clear extension data or uninstall the extension.

HTTPS is used in transit. Access is limited through Supabase sessions and user-linked database rules. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. Keep optional secrets such as Discord webhooks and CallMeBot API keys private.

7. Your choices and control

  • Delete tracked products in the extension.
  • Disable Discord or WhatsApp notifications and remove their details from settings.
  • Sign out and clear local extension data through Chrome settings.
  • Request deletion of cloud account data by email. We may need to verify account ownership before completing the request.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the extension's features or data practices change. The current version will be published here with a revised date.
